well, the other day the boy and I said goodbye to one of my longest friends from college. She's moving all the way to New Orleans. I still remember the first day I met her @ a wendys talking about how much boys suxxxed, haha,, now we're both in relationships with guys we both really like. Both in interracial relations, as well! I love cultural mixing!

Anyway, the goodbye was short and sweet, we grabbed some drinks at intelligensia, and walked through millenium park. When I started school this year it felt weird that she wasn't there. But I'm happy she found her place. It seems that a lot of my friends are finding our place, which I am happy about. We can't all stay side by side forever. I'm just counting down the days till I'm back in NYC. Seriously....chicago is LAME in comparison. :'(

I went to go see crazy, stupid, love with the boy, and sobbed like a little girl. Something about steve carrell rom-coms that just make me sob. It was really really wonderful. I super enjoyed it! Don't be fooled! I didn't care too much for date night, but I also really enjoyed Dan in real life, its simple and sweet. Reminds you of Harry Met Sally, or You got Mail. For a brief moment, Dave and I thought we were the only ones in the theatre, but 5 mins before it started people started pouring in. Oh wells, at least we got to pretend to be kings for a blip! If you havent seen crazy, stupid, love yet go go go. I mean Emma Stone, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling! Some of my faves! I really do adore ms. stone, I wish we could switch LIVES! haha! someday ;)

first day back in chicago, I did what every chicagoan does. I ate deep dish pizza, and was filled with regrets. I actually do not care for deep dish, but my dad wanted to take out my boyfriend and I out for lunch before he headed back home. It was the first time my father met dave so that was a little nerve wrecking. but he already loves him, so casting cares aside for now! Its been rather cool in chicago (THX GOD) because living in NYC with no A/C has been more than depressing. My family lives in the outskirts of the city within some forest preserves in the old timey al capone victorian style house with NO A/C as well, so i prefer cold over HOT HOT HOT. Plus as for my last year in school, I'm commuting from home versus living in my takka takka apartment which I already gave away since I left for NYC. I miss living in the heart beat of the city, BUT I rather save money in my last year to pay back this 6 years stint as an undergrad AND move back to NYC. The count down begins NAOW!

(trying this lookbook thing again..IDK Y, prepare for my next weeks to filled with self depreciation!! lol jk jk!)

ghost town

i'm sure you all have been wondering where i've been, and I took a short vacation to my grandparents house. and to see other family. my dad and my brother came to pick me up from nyc (NOOOOO) and drove us all out to pittsburgh to see the fam. I was asking my father while we were on route that how come it seems that when you go visit your family the town always seems so sleepy and small. He wasn't sure why it seemed that way either, but we both agreed that we (my dad, my siblings, and I) are all very much city kids. It was great seeing all of them, and being made fun of by cousins and such. When i make my grand journey to NYC permanently, it will be nice to be much closer to them. Hopefully we can spend more time together.

never will forget going to the mall with my grandparents in new castle, and seeing around 10 cars in the parking lot, and my grandfather remarking "oh its really crowded today, must be a sale" haha, very different than the big apple.

taxi doors

(tax cab-vampire weekend)

I was able to enjoy the world of event planning for a brief moment at work yesterday. It was real fun seeing that industry. I think that’s one thing I like working for a company that isn’t just design, but digital, and event planning, and sales. It allows me to see all fields and make sure I make the best choice for my life.

We were setting up for a boat cruise for some clients. On the way we picked up these SUPER CUTE cookies from Eleni’s in Chelsea! Totally worth the avenues over!! I had had haaaaad to score me one, I felt like a taxi deemed appropriate since it’s my last week here! Oh btw the captain of our cruise was TOTALL ADORABLE…haha I had to sneak a pic of him, and make this meme..

LAWLS I’m so annoying. ARNT MY DESINE SKILLZ AMAZEBALLS?
Things are doing better, boys R still gross. Thanks for your love, lovers!

I’m totally kidding, my life is great, its my last week in NYC so im SO SAD.
I been balancing meeting, events, updating my comic blog, and trying to ge eleanorzine out there, but when I published the swf IT WAS BUGGED OUT, NOW I HAVE TO RE DO THE WHOLE FORMAT ((sobs)) I want to get it done before fall..

LOL..siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh (I apologize and thanks for being so patient) I really wish some people understood I’m doing all the formatting and etc, ALL BY MYSELF..but I digress, I know you’re depending on me…..

Ugh, meanwhile, I update my comic diary often because it’s a great release, I’ve been on a BOYS SUXXXXXX wavelength recently, and those of you who know me or talk to me daily, know why. Sometimes, I really just don’t understand…..
