I feel like a girl scout, which I used to be. I remember being uber excited to sell cookies and make new friends who were just as passionate as being a sciency nerd that loved cookies, as I. Turned out most of the girls in my troop were more interested in boys and music, which I was a bit of a late bloomer to everyone else. HAHA oh well..:/

I'm rockin my favorite owl sweater at my favorite local brewery. I'm such a hipster to drink locally but the price is right and the food is bomb! I bought this yellow awesome-ness last year for my Arthur costume, and hey it was a wonderful kind of day full of nice weather, model castings, and yum yum veggie nachos! I feel like I've been super busy, but I have exciting news, well quasi exciting....I WANT TO TELL YOU NOW, but I'll wait ;), right now I should be writing a script...but instead I'm going to ditch it and go to a party :P IM SO RESPONSIBLE.....( but i blame it on creative blocking!)

okay, that's it. it seems to be every time someone writes: I'll NVR leave you AGIN BLOG, you disappear! SO THAT'S IT. I'm no longer saying "I'm back for good now" because it seems to be my own demise.

ANYWAYS. SO GLAD ITS FALL RITE? LOVIN THIS WEATHER, I can finally style the coordinates I WANT TO WEAR! It feels good. Over the weekend, I had to do a little pre halloween shopping! (to break away of how stressed I've been, lots of great new oppurtunities have happened this past week but I've been BUSY BUSY, hence the uber sad face ((i make a pretty bomb sad face)) ) I rolled around with many ideas such as Slash from guns and roses, or Richard Ayoade from the IT crowd. BUT I THINK I GOT IT, but shhhhhhh it's a secret hee hee! I love that all my clothes I'm wearing in these pics are vintage! When my mom saw me she rolled her eyes and called me "Elaine" I'll never stopped dressing like Elaine (via Seinfield) SHES MY HERO.

weirdly warm

still didn't get anything done today, instead it was weirdly warm. Like, upper 70s after being in the low 60s. Weird right? I mean not "weird" for the time of season but my sinuses can't take the hots and colds, then sometimes you over or underdress...always have a jacket. So I went with this while attending several outdoor festivals in Chicago land, yet instead of eating guilt inducing carnival food, I had starbucks (which is still guilt-ful) oh well! There was pretty neat bands playing, and I just like being out amongst the people, realizing that people keep mistaking me for 17....

last night I went on a date with my boo, we went out for Indian food (LOVE) & saw Drive with Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan, it was...BRILLS, perfect 80s style film. The music in it was...GENIUS, seriously. Now that I'm back home and I can attempt cleaning again I think I will listen to it so more. Dave freaked out because he's already has all the songs (hipster...pfft...lol) but it really suited the film. Plus is it me or is Ryan surprisingly hot? He has this "white mike" thing going, that I'm like totally falling for, haha, I'm so embarrassed, sorry mark walbergh, you've been replaced. :P

Fall is rapidly approaching and i love it. I love the crisp autumn weather and the smell of the trees blowing in the wind. You know its nearly time for Halloween, apple picking, cider drinking, and parade attending. I simply adore my birthday being the marker of the first unofficial day of fall (labor day), followed by fashion week, and scary movies. I am actually craving a good scare and on my radar right now is the 1985 classic of Fright Night. It encompasses all my love for things spooky, and is it me or is Brewster a total babe! I think i have been channeling 80s classic movies when i thrifted this awesome steal of a jacket. I mean its teen wolf letterman, meets Pendleton classic prints. Its a throw on and go, completes my laziest looks. I had to offset this shoot with this recent sweep of murals in my hood of classic movies. J'adore! Im thinking classic movie marathon, aren't you? What are your faves!?

Denim Skirts: this season's must-have

It seems like denim skirts are making a massive comeback this season as
the '90s fashion revival trend continues to take both the catwalk and the high street by storm. Think cropped tops, scrunchies, platform shoes, and of course, lots and lots of denim. jazzy sunday

Lazy sunday for me, just doing research at home, and slowly cleaning my room. Haha this will take me forever. I hate moving, but I also kind of love it! I love the excitement but I hate the ...."o well now I have ALL THIS STUFF" I've been getting rid of a lot though and I am proud!

Le sigh, anyways, I went to jazz fest recently with my moms for my birthday. It was a pretty decent fest with music, dancing, bbq galore! Chicago does jazz right! I actually really do like jazz I think I want to have it at my wedding, haha!

Fashion Night Meow

I don't know why "fashion night meow" sounded like a good idea, maybe it's because I've missed two trains today, and been sitting in side of starbucks for 4 hours, yes thats it...I'm high on espresso by assosiation. :/

ANYWAYS...Who went to #FNO? it was BALLER, we'll not as high ballin as NYC--DUH but Chicago tries! REAL HARD, GUYS. It wasn't really the fashion that had me impressed, but the designers, and the people. I got to meet super aweshttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifome beauty blogger Patrice from AfroBella, and hang with designers! I had so much fun! Plus the treats ZOMG THE TREATS!! I could die for one of those cupcakes right now.

It was so inspiring, really wanted me to make my blog more fulltime! I was born in the "industry" with working with my family business (more to come on that ;) ) But I feel like I always rebelled. But I feel like I'm really finding me, and my style! I LOVE IT ALL!! Hee hee, and I think Chi town definitely needs more blogger meet ups! Whose with me?

They say its your birthday ...

What a year, indeed. I think with each year of my life comes great wonder and opportunity. I feel like i have accomplished what some people only dream to accomplish and yet there's so much i want to do! But im so grateful for every step!

This year the boy took me too the beach (the dunes actually) Friday morning and then threw me a surprise birthday party at night! I DID NOT EVEN REALIZE IT WAS FOR ME! I was like "i love surprises, who is it for?" hehe. But the party was bangin, and also this weekend we went to see Midnight in Paris which was luckily still in theatres, it is brills and def classic Woody Allen. On Sunday It was family dinner time at one of my favorite Japanese buffet. But after all this cake and sushi i think my real gift to myself should be to run a few miles!

Ah it was such a nice bday (which on truth was yesterday, i meant to post this then but i was tired from the wild weekend!) My real wish is to get back into blogging, with a new job, school starting, moving back home, and adjusting to midwestern life--- its been crazy! But i promise im back, thanks for all your support!
