Even though I have spring on THE BRAIN, it's still winter outside, oh it's been a long a bruTAL winter, and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Though to be honest, I don't mind winter I harvest the most creativity then because I am forced to stay home and create! I do miss warm weather, going out, playing, I love it as much as I love staying in, reading books, keeping to myself.

One thing I enjoy doing all seasons is window shopping! Haha, I've been spending more online since I can't go out, and to be honest it's more of a conscious spending as well, versus just impulsive buy. An online shop I can always rely on is Mayflower Supply, my friends Liz and Emily came together for this ultra lovely winter lookbook, having you dream up outfits against industrial backgrounds. The graffiti in the background are apart of the Bushwick Collective in brooklyn, adding that extra city kid meets New England feel. I miss my new york friends!!! But I'm so happy to see them collaborating and doing cool thangs.

I had the absolute honor of watching Liz belabor over building this wonderful and unique vintage heritage brand. All summer and long she sought out fine vintage pieces, took delicate and wonderful photos, and built the online brick and mortar shop Mayflower Supply.

I absolutely love the direction of this vintage line. Deeps reds and browns, feels so warm and cozy while also being so campy. It really makes me respect and love my midwest country girl roots.

Fortunately for you guys the shop has just opened! But you must hurry, things are in limited supply!

I had the chance to get a sneak peek at Veer Fall 2013 lookbook, and I'm already in love. It should come as no surprise to you all that I love tomboy style. And looking through Veer's lookbook only makes me love it MORE! Veer is a curated online boutique that finds the best of women's and men's fashion blurring the line between styles. Plus they are all about fit, so if you're not necessarily "boy shaped" but you love boys clothes, this is the place for you! I'm literally counting down the days until they open! WHICH IS THE DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY! I've been dying for some drop waist pants recently. I think is after so many years of Japanese street mags, I'M FINALLY CONVINCED! JE VEUX DROP CROTCH! JE VEUX VEER (say that 5xs fast..)

In honor of mansome mondays (even though its Tuesday) I wanted to share with you guys the spring/summer lookbook of the Japanese brand Frapbois. (Not sure if thats a bad translation of Frat Boys?) Its a cut and sew relaxed fit company where boys and girls share the same clothes. I love the preppy yet folky look this lookbook gives off. Reminds of the Japanese style I feel in love with back in the 90s! Plus is way less "hypebeasty" than it used to be. Since I've been diving deeper in getting more boyish charm to my style I feel like this lookbook is right up my alley! to be honest I've never been too much of a super revealing girl when I was in my teens. When men are trying to grab your butt on hot crowded summer trains, the last thing I want to be in is booty shorts.

une femme est une femme

As soon as I saw Line & Dots lookbook mentioned on Refinery29 I think my heart fell out of my butt. Can you say magnifique?! Inspired by Jean-Luc Godard and the oh so brilliant Anna Karina in Une Femme est une femme, I just think I have fallen in love with a new clothing line. And can anyone say weird, I love how...mix matched and messy everything is. ET UN CHAT!! Seriously, cats, berets, glasses, polkadots?!! TAKE MY MONEY. Perfectly french for a girl like moi! Anyone elses heart beating as quickly as mine? I hope so. And am I the only one getting Japanese magazine ViVi vibes from this? This feels so Lena Fuji.

This is almost as delicious as mermaiden's take on anna karina special look. Or even Ruby Sparks references to it in the film! (go see that movie btw...Paul Dano is love!)

how crazy will I look in blue eye shadow??

hey guys
