I don't really update this little ole blog anymore do I? Not to say I don't miss it, but as life passes on and we get older (and busier) I don't have the same ample amount of time as I did in college. My photographer can't shoot me at every whim anymore now that he works full time and no longer a block away from my home, and my health has been so topsy turvy that moments of silence on this blog are natural. I also noticed my own cynicism towards blogging that I never had in the beginning. I used to love telling stories posting my looks, but then it became a game of likes, comments, popularity. I no longer liked blogging I just tried to keep my stats up to impress...myself? I stopped dressing for myself and became a caricature of myself + "blogger style" I've decided from this point forward I will dress when I want, how I want, and post whenever I want to. I have made you my lovely readers into people I was afraid of. People I worried would hate me or leave me if I took time for myself. But now I understand. We all continue to grow, we all flourish, we all can't spend days and days taking pictures of ourselves and neglect the responsibilities that lay ahead off the computer. I love you guys, I will continue to blog, I will continue to dress...just know some days are filled with yoga pants, sweatshirts, and illustration deadlines.   photo redfit7_zps4f43ab42.jpg photo redfit5_zps37055247.jpg

I'm excited that it's fall, I don't care if that makes me basic. ( haha JAY KAY) In all seriousness, I'm excited that I have an excuse to layer my clothes in anyway that I please and for it to be socially acceptable versus me looking like a vagabond. (at least I have a notion that I don't look like a vagabond between the months of september-feb, who actually knows!) When Articles of Society sent me these waxed coated Mya Jeans, I KNEW, I KNEEEEW what to layer them with. I snagged this short sleeve sweater number from Agaci, and layered it with a flannel shirt. For me this outfit screams classic Japanese Street Style, like something you would read in Soup or JILLE. Either way I'm totally digging the short sleeve over long sleeve though part of me never wants to recreate any style that I performed in the 90s. Plus these jeans make me feel like a cool girl (cooler than I am) like I should be hanging out with Devendra Banhart or something... photo aos3_zps69aec20b.jpg photo aos7_zps7f19eb24.jpg photo aos4_zps45fcdbf9.jpg

Give me the classics

jeans: forever 21 + (i get them short so they are cropped im 5'8")
kickass shoes: FOREVER 21 (similar)
ok so I went a little wild but it all matched!

As I mentioned before there really isn't anything better than a grey sweater. And even though I try to not buy anymore, whenever I see grey my heart just flutters! Paired with a skinny jean and a kickass flat it's impossible not to feel classically cool. Plus these shoes look SO HIGH END to have only been $30 bucks. Shoes, 30, sweater 17, jeans 9, I mean a whole look for under $60 THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. Plus even though this outfit feels designer I'm not afraid to hit the park, run around, bike to my favorite shops, and even wipe the pizza grease on my knees. Don't you just love looks that feel put together while being so so simple. Plus as you may have notice I COLORED MY HAIR HAHA. If you follow me on instagram (you should) you'd see that it was my birthday TADA to myself. Spending the next years becoming the woman I want to be than being afraid to be her! I mean we only got one life to live, might as well not live it in fear! Even if I garner a few stares at this point it's nothing new. HA!

Get your leather ON

workshirt: madewell (similar cut, similar color)
sweats: ross (similar) (similar)
jersey motorcycle jacket: mom's (similar) (similar)
faux suede loafers: forever 21

I promise you, with these clothes on I felt like Karen O singing "Zero" in a dewy fall evening. I kind of put these clothes together on a whim, they feel so pajama-y. These comfy but COOL sweats (that I got for $9 bucks at Ross THATS how you try a trend haha) this boy shirt from madewell, and even though this jacket looks leather it's actually jersey! Super comfy, extra cool! I went dress like this to Dave's little sister college football game down in southern illinois. (she's in the band) I'll admit I totally felt like I should've been making out behind the bleechers than cheering on the home team. Unfortunately the kids lost, but everyone loved my hair I didn't even notice the game! (Bonus purple was the school color so all the parents thought I was alumni haha!) Dave's lil sis friends thought I was a total badass which is such a laugh! Little do they know I was the dweeb in school! Oh how times have changed. But I'm really not that cool at all, I still spend my weekends eating cereal, watching cartoons, and playing video games. But now no one can tell me "no" or "go study' CUZ I'S AN ADULT! Oh how wonderful it is, isn't it? (insert paramore haha!)

Did you enter my giveaway? You have till September 23rd! Let's go!

Flower Power Coordinates

Coordinate: Available Here (created by me!)
Jacket: VintageShoes: Elizabeth & James

Oh hi there, miss me your friend Bianca? Oh I know it's been a while, but lets say the past 365 has been nothing short of a journey. But now after a little self motivation I'm ready and confident to get back into, blogging- what what!

Recently I've discovered the LOVE for coordinates, but unfortunately most that I could find were either made in china or simple not made for girls who fit in the realm of having hips that don't lie, butts that can't hide, and sometimes #bustygirlproblems. So I decided to create my own!

For those who don't know my mom is a designer, therefore I contacted her to join me on this venture of designing some fun BLARGH clothing ( I can't sew worth a damn) We spent a few weeks finding vintage fabrics, measuring women with an extra bit of hump, and coming up with some cute designs that are both summer cute and fall ready. I going to show you all every piece but I'll start today with one of my faves with is this simple jersey knit two piece.

The waist is a nice wide elastic (comfort-yay) that goes in at the waist while the short breezes out for that cute oversized look. The shirt is cropped but still long enough for those of us who aren't as petite as the Asian models used on sites such as Yesstyle. (Where anything oversized fits me regular haha)

I thought it would be fun to go full force with this look with some heels, floral crown, and demin jacket. So tell me ladies what do you think? Each coordinate is one of a kind so if you LOVE IT, head over to the shop and claim it for yourself. There labor day outfit solved!

Can't wait to show you the rest of the looks, plus because were such good friends take 15% off with the coupon code AB15OFF, now we're talking!

dotted denim: roxy
white jeans: levis
shoes: new balance classic
trench: thrifted vintage
lippy: NYX

ok ok, I know I posted some of these before, but I just really REALLY loved this outfit I did with zappos, and I wanted to share the rest of the photos! And heck, it's my blog so why not! This look is SO VERY ME right now, preppy, boyish, but still a little sexy with the red lip. Overall I'm loving it, and I can't go wrong with the classics! I've been DYEING to try a denim, white jean, and gym shoe look. I'm glad it was as successful irl, as it was in my head. Sometimes, certain looks don't translate. But this one was perf! Ah, if I could only look this put together ALL DA TIME.

AVNT BLRGH x ZAPPOS

When Zappos asked me to style some of their new pieces for spring 2014, I couldn't have been more excited. And duh, OF COURSE I said yes please! I actually had no idea that Zappos sold more things than shoes, but clothes and accessories too, everything I needed to make some neat-o surpremo outfits. I wanted to create looks that were  diverse but really cater to how I am dressing these days, and even wearing less pants every now and again if you believe it!

photo look13_zps70d65a03.jpg photo look11_zps023d0399.jpg photo look12_zpsaa2bbe31.jpg Look one: Classic Tomboy featuring Levis Hi Rise Peakaboo Jeans & Report Boots

I wanted to create a look that said classic tomboy, jeans a white tee, and boots to dress it up a bit. You seriously can't go wrong with a pair of levi's and the fact that they are hi waisted gave them that extra blargh oomph! Plus the patches I love even more! I added my own white tee and army jacket to keep with the simpicity, but I also think this look would work really well with a simple black blazer as well!

Look ma! I'm wearing a dress!! Haha but yes, I totally loved this number. It's sweet without being too sacchrine! The black and white keeps it simple, but the boots & my vintage blazer totally edge it up perfect for date nights in the city. I totally love these boots. Of course Zappos knows their shoes! These guys are the perfect blend between edgy and simple, which is totally what I'm into these days!

Look three: Disheveled Prep featuring Roxy Dotted Denim, Levis Skinny Cropped Jeans, & New Balance Classics

If you follow me on tumblr, I'm obsessed with New Balance, which is hilarious coming from the girl who in high school laughed at the kids who wore NB while she listened to the violent femmes, but we all change over time don't we? I also have been loving preppy looks that aren't so perfect. I teamed up this look with my own shruken vintage trench that I thrifted of course, and all around this is my favorite look! I took so many photos of this guy, I'll be posting more later this week! I just loved the way this turned out!!

Overall, I really wanted to play with pieces I could easily mix and match with my own wardrobe, and Zappos definitely has classic staples that any kid could use to expand their wardrobe and mix with what they already have, especially vintage pieces! Which look is your fave? (btw my lipstick is a matte lipgloss by NYX lasted the whole day i love!)

hey guys
